Here you’ll find simple and quick answers to the most frequent questions new users have when starting with Code Contract.
📱 Can I use Code Contract from my mobile?
Yes. The platform is responsive, so you can access it from your mobile or tablet browser without installing anything. All main functions (signing, workflows, evidence) work the same as on desktop.
🔧 Do I need to install additional software?
No. Code Contract is 100% web-based, no downloads or add-ons required. You only need an updated browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari).
👥 How many users can I invite?
As many as you want. There is no limit or extra cost for registered users. External participants (signers or respondents) do not consume licenses.
📄 What document formats does Consigne support?
Mainly PDF, which is the most reliable for keeping layout and signature positions. Other formats may work, but we recommend converting to PDF before uploading.
🕒 What happens if a participant doesn’t respond to a workflow?
They will receive automatic reminders according to your Trackline configuration.
If they still don’t respond, the workflow will remain marked as “pending,” and you can resend or cancel the request manually.
⚠️ Why can’t I see a document or workflow sometimes?
- Make sure you are in the correct organization (check the company selector).
- Check your role permissions (Editor/Reader).
- Use the global search by document name.
🔒 Are my keys and data safe?
All data is encrypted (SSL/TLS).
Your API Keys are managed independently and can be revoked at any time.
Signatures and evidence use timestamps and blockchain to guarantee integrity.
