Delete documents or data from a Trackline process
In Trackline, within the Code Contract platform, it is possible to delete documents or data attached to a process to correct errors or update information.
However, it is important to understand that even though you can remove these files or data, they are not deleted from the traceability record, in order to guarantee the transparency and security of the process.
What can you delete?
- Documents uploaded by participants or by the organization.
- Data or responses attached in forms or requests.
What can’t you delete?
- The process traceability history or record.
- The evidence that a document or data was uploaded and later deleted.
How to delete an attached document or data
- Access the process
From the Processes section, select the workflow where the document or data you want to delete is located. - Locate the corresponding phase and request
Find the specific document or data within the phase and request you want to delete. - Delete the file or data
Use the delete option available next to the attached file or data. - Confirm deletion
Save the changes so the document or data is removed from the request.
Important about traceability
Even if the document or data disappears from the request, the system keeps a permanent record in the traceability log indicating when and who uploaded it and when it was deleted. This ensures process integrity and transparency.
