🔐 Roles and Permissions for External Participants in Trackline

🔐 Roles and Permissions for External Participants in Trackline

Define participant roles in Trackline
In Trackline, part of the Code Contract platform, external participants have specific roles and permissions to ensure proper interaction with processes, while limiting access strictly to what’s needed to complete their tasks.

Main roles for external participants

  • Sender: Receives a request to submit information or documents.
  • Receiver: Receives the data or documents submitted by the sender.
  • Validator: Reviews, approves, or rejects the submitted information.

Permissions associated with each role
Sender:

  • Can only access the requests they must complete.
  • Cannot view other stages or process data.
  • May upload documents, fill out forms, or sign if required.

Receiver:

  • Accesses the submitted information for reception or further processing.
  • Can download documents and review attached data.

Validator:

  • Can approve or reject documents and data according to process rules.
  • Has restricted access to only the information necessary for validation.

Important considerations

  • Permissions are strictly limited to protect data privacy and process security.
  • Each external participant interacts only with the stages and requests assigned to their role.
  • External participants do not need a platform account to perform their role.
