👥 Roles and Permissions in Trackline Templates

👥 Roles and Permissions in Trackline Templates
Delegate documentation and information requests through the platform
In Trackline, part of the Code Contract platform, properly assigning roles and permissions is essential to ensure each participant has the appropriate access and clear responsibilities throughout the automated process.

Main roles in templates

Sender
The person or entity from whom the information is requested.
If there are multiple requests in one phase with different conditions, requests will be merged.
Can be one or multiple participants.

Validator
Reviews and approves the submitted information or documents.
Can request corrections or reject submissions if they don’t meet the requirements.
Can be one or multiple participants.
If there are multiple validators in one phase with different conditions, validation requests will be merged.

Receiver
The final recipient of the information or documents.
Can be an internal user or an external participant without needing an account.
Can be one or multiple participants.
If there are multiple receivers in one phase with different conditions, validation requests will be merged.

How to assign roles and permissions
For each request in the template, you can assign one or more participants as sender, validator, or receiver.
Participants may be registered users on the platform or external users interacting without an account.
Configure permissions to control who can view, edit, or validate the information at each stage.

Why proper assignment matters

  • Ensures security and confidentiality of information.
  • Enables efficient task and responsibility flow.
  • Avoids confusion and duplication during the process.
