⚙️ How to Create a Template in Trackline Step by Step

⚙️ How to Create a Template in Trackline Step by Step
Create templates in Trackline to start working
Creating a template in Trackline, part of the Code Contract platform, allows you to automate information collection in a structured way tailored to your organization’s needs. Follow this guide to design your template from scratch:

1. Go to the Templates section
Log in to Code Contract and select Trackline from the main menu. Then go to the Templates section.

2. Start creating a new template
Click Create New Template to begin designing.

3. Define name and description
Assign a clear name and a short description to identify the purpose of the template.

4. Organize the process into phases
Divide the template into phases to control when each piece of information will be requested.
Add as many phases as needed to reflect the real workflow.

5. Configure the information requests
Choose the type of information you want to request: documents, text, files, or a combination.
Customize each request according to what you need to collect.

6. Assign participants and roles
Decide who will participate in each phase and what their role will be: sender, validator, or receiver.
You can include internal users or external participants without requiring registration.

7. Review and save the template
Ensure everything is correctly set up and save the template so it’s available for future processes.
